The International Centre for Mathematics in Ukraine (ICMU) and the Centre for Quantum Mathematics (QM) at the University of Southern Denmark are jointly organising a workshop on applied mathematics.

This five-day event will take place simultaneously at two locations, with a live connection between audiences at ICMU in Kyiv and QM in Sønderborg.

The workshop aims to provide an overview of recent advances in the application of mathematical methods across science, technology, and economics. Topics will include, but are not limited to, applied probability, cryptography, machine learning, optimization, statistics, and quantum mathematics. A dedicated day of the workshop will focus on the latter topic, under the title Quantum Mathematics and Its Application to Quantum Computing.

On Wednesday we will have a special session in support of ICMU and Ukrainian science more broadly. Along with the workshop participants, the session will be attended by prominent figures in science and technology, leaders from business and industry, and philanthropists.
