The ICMU Student Research Award continues to support talented students and recognise outstanding work in the mathematical sciences. ICMU is pleased to announce the call for the 2026 edition of the Award, which offers a cash prize of 50,000 Ukrainian hryvnia. In previous year, four Ukrainian students have received the Award for original research papers in different areas of mathematics. Several prizes are awarded each year.
Students of Ukrainian universities (as of May 2026) can submit:
Bachelor's and Master's degree theses;
Articles published or submitted to scientific journals.

All applications will be evaluated by a committee consisting of representatives of several Ukrainian higher educational institutions and members of the Co-ordination Committee of ICMU.
The results will be announced in December 2026.
